Tissue-Specific Exercises



All tissues depend on exercise for vitality. Factors such as resistance, intensity, and frequency must be optimal for each specific tissue. Different types of tissues have different demands and thus need to be trained in different ways. For all tissues, rest is vital.

At Ignite Physical Therapy, we use the latest evidence to optimally load injured tissues based upon the makeup of that tissue in order to increase the tissue capacity. Ultimately, this leads to increased function, reduced pain, and a quicker, safer return to activity with reduced risk of re-injury.
